Job description
Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Advisor on behalf of an Educational establishment to provide generalist HR advice, support and guidance, specialising in recruitment and employee engagement, ensuring that high quality, appropriate advice is given.
37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: £24,119 - £26,552pa

Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
The person & qualifications
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 or working towards
- GCSE Maths & English grade C/4 or equivalent
- Good level of IT skills and experience of MS Office applications and HR & Payroll systems
Duties
- Provide generalist advice and guidance to employees and line managers on a range of human resources issues including recruitment, absence, conditions of service, policies, employment legislation and best practice.
- Work with the HR Administrators and oversee all recruitment administration and onboarding, including carrying out new starter checking for payroll purposes.
- Liaise with internal and external audit when required and manage any submissions
- Develop the capability and functionality of the HR & Payroll system in the areas of recruitment, web recruitment, safer recruitment and reward
- Work with the Head of HR and Payroll to improve the College’s ability to attract talent, recruit, manage, reward and retain employees
- Work with the Head of HR and Payroll to promote staff benefits and rewards, including total reward statements, to improve retention and progression and improve the employee experience.
- Support the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business needs and continuous service improvement
