Job description
Our high-profile clients are seeking a Houseman/Handyman/ Technician for their fully staffed, luxury home in Chelsea to replace their current houseman of over 7 years with the family.
The family have a sophisticated plant system in the house which includes AV, IT, Creston, Lutron so previous experience in this area is essential in order to be considered for the role.
During periods when the clients are in residence, candidates should have flexibility and a willingness to work weekends and early morning or late evening shifts at times, and sometimes unplanned long shifts due to a change in plans by the family.
Duties & Responsibilities -
· Regularly clean, sweep and look after all outdoor areas of the premises, including washing and wiping down outside furniture and polishing various areas and picking up the trash and yard waste as needed between visits from the gardeners.
· Maintain equipment and facilities, such as changing HVAC air filters, replacing light bulbs, cleaning drains and gutters.
· Run errands and shopping in the local vicinity
· Regularly clean and organize stock and storage areas such as garage cabinets and storage rooms and shed.
· Perform minor paint touch ups to walls and areas of the house that are scuffed or looking worn. Know when to request a professional painter to avoid damaging sensitive surfaces or materials.
· Assist with moving or carrying boxes or small and large items. Always take proper safety precautions to avoid injuring yourself or others or damaging items, and always ask for help when needed.
· Build furniture, toys and other purchases
· Cleaing of cars inside and outside
· Preparing wood for fires if required
· Assisting housekeepers if required
· Management of all waste from the house and ensuring the weekly bins are placed outside the home for collection
· Manage the plant room equipment, must have experience with Creston, Lutron and AV/ IT equipment

Working hours:Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (when family are away) Flexible working hours when family are in residence
Salary:£50,000 - £55,000 gross per annum
