Housekeeping Supervisor | Spire South Bank, Worcester | Permanent | 37.5 hours | £24,907.84 per annum + extensive benefits
We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team here at Spire South Bank, Worcester. This perfect opportunity for someone with experience or knowledge of Housekeeping or cleaning. This is a permanent full time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
You will join an experienced and dedicated team of housekeepers/domestic assistants here at South Bank, the role is much more than just your average. You will work in both patient and non-patient facing areas, we have a strong focus on Customer Service, so at times provide a friendly ear to patients during what can sometimes be a particularly unsettling time, our team of Housekeepers/domestic assistants provide a vital service in our Hospital.
In this role you will be responsible for supervising the day to day duties of our housekeeping/domestic staff, maintaining our high standards of cleanliness within our fantastic hospital. This will include our Wards, Offices and Reception and you will ensure our beds are turned around in preparation for new patients in a timely manner.
You will take an active part in the team complete, rotas, staff records, complete training an audits/inspections to ensure we meet and exceed expectations, to drive constant development and improvement.
Who we're looking for:
- You will ideally have experience in a cleaning/supervisory/management capacity within a commercial environment, however this is not essential as full training and development will be provided.
- Flexibility to the required shifts
- Someone with a great work ethic who excels in customer service
- Due to the transport links, your own transport would be beneficial
