We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior IT Support Technician to join our recently created, growing IT Service Desk function.
The role
As Junior IT Support Technician you will provide first line IT Support to all onsite and remote users.
Key duties:
- Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organisation
- Working alongside the IT Manager to provide 1st class IT service & support
- Working closing with the IT teams within the UK, Europe, and the US
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
- Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
- Testing new hardware and software before installation
- Providing application support for all Blatchford core line of business applications, these are ERP (CSI), patient care system (RMS), Salesforce, website, & PLM
- Supporting and troubleshooting classroom and event AV equipment, including projectors
What are we looking for?
Key skills
- Degree in IT related subject or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+ qualification (Desirable)
- Some previous IT Support experience or understanding
