You will clean and present Walmer Castle & Gardens to an exemplary standard, ensuring that visitors enjoy a high quality experience and the site and contents are cared for appropriately.

1. Undertake presentation cleaning of all of the visitor and staff facilities
2. Undertake routine cleaning of the historic property
3. Follow specific cleaning protocols for historic objects
4. Undertake routine cleaning of the education center
5. Promptly report any maintenance issues
6. Ensure that the site is checked regularly for safety hazards and that appropriate actions are taken
7. Ensure compliance with all English Heritage health and safety standards
8. Report accidents and incidents as appropriate.

This role has an annualised contract. The regular monthly salary will be the same amount and hours will differ throughout the year. You will be required to cover the holiday cottage housekeeping, approx. 5 weeks per year (this will be additional pay).
