Job description

Empro Plumbing are looking to recruit an experienced self employed Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team on a part time or full time self employed basis, covering the BR DA and some RM postcodes when required.

Empro Plumbing recently merged with another company who had been successfully operating in the Kent area for over 20 years providing Boiler Servicing, Boiler & Plumbing Repairs and Boiler & Central Heating Installations.

Due to increased demand we are looking to recruit an Engineer experienced in central heating and boiler breakdowns, boiler repairs, hot water system repair, and plumbing repairs.

The position will see you working on central heating boilers, central heating systems, and associated gas appliances, and plumbing in domestic properties, and you will always be delivering excellent customer service.

We are open to negotiating pay rates and types of payments whether it be price per job or day rate. We have the option of part time work, 2 to 3 days a week or full time work up to 6 days per week if the work is available.

The Role:

  • Diagnosis and fault finding on gas boilers & heating systems
  • Repairing of Gas Boilers
  • Replacement of Parts
  • Servicing of Domestic Gas Boilers and Gas Appliances
  • Electronic completion of Gas Safety Certificates
  • Central Heating System diagnosis
  • Un-vented cylinder repair Requirements if applicable

The ideal engineer will have the following:

  • Minimum CCN1 & SENWAT
  • Have your own vehicle
  • Have your own tools
  • Have public liability insurance
  • Be competent and confident diagnosing faults to all gas boilers
  • Be located in BR or DA Postcode area ideally
