The Pipe and Glass are searching for an experienced housekeeper to join our friendly and professional housekeeping team.
As a housekeeper at the Pipe and Glass, you’ll be part of a team that helps to create long lasting memories for our overnight guests by ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are immaculately executed, in a friendly and positive manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning and preparation of the Pipe and Glass boutique, luxury rooms.
- Cleaning of public areas in the pub, as required.
- Ensure cleaning products are ordered and stored correctly.
- Ensure that customers are treated with politeness and courtesy at all times, providing personable help and assistance where required.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene, appropriate to food preparation and service.
- Adhere to stringent health, safety and hygiene regulations.
Experience Required:
- An awareness of health and hygiene regulations.
- Attention to detail.
- Driving Licence with own transport (we’re in a beautiful, but quite rural location!).
- Meticulous timekeeping.

This is a part-time role, approximately 16-22 hours a week, with a level of flexibility required for holiday cover. A typical shift pattern would be:
- Tuesday = 8am - 2pm,
- Wednesday to Saturday = 10am - 2pm.

Part-time hours: 16-22 per week
Salary: From £10.50 per hour
