Our guests expect the highest standards in customer service and we are looking for a Receptionist to start ASAP
The ideal candidates will have the following:
The availability to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. The Day Front Office Receptionist will be on a Rota for 7am to 3pm or 3pm-11pm shift
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Check in any arriving guests and check out any departing guests.
- Answer telephone queries
- Good communication skills and presentation
- Answer emails
- Deal with any guest queries
- Ensure no guest is kept waiting at any time
- Help with luggage
- General reporting for reception
- To assist and support the Duty Manager in the day to day running of the reception and to ensure a consistently high level of service offered to guests. To encourage and develop team.
- Drive co-ordination and assist with development of procedures and standards within the Reception department.
- Assisting other departments whenever required
Making sure the banking and cash float is reconciled at the end of each shift
- Our Ideal Applicant:
- Prior hotel experience; preferably in Reception or Reservations
- Experience of providing excellent standards of guest care
- Knowledge of computerised check-in systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
- Smart personal presentation and polite manner
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
