Job description
Sands Resort Hotel is now recruiting for someone to join our team as a Porter. You will be required to work approximately 40 hours per week.
Working hours are a variation of 8-hour shifts between 8am and 11pm.
This is a seasonal position until 1st October 2023.
Key responsibilities :
· Assisting guests with luggage.
· Assisting our Housekeeping team and other department errands.
· Cleaning of communal areas.
· Helping in other Departments as and when required.
· Keeping corridors, linen and storage cupboards organised and stocked.
The ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 1 year experience, although training will be provided.
- A great eye for detail.
- High standard of cleaning.
- friendly attitude, good verbal communication skills.
- Well-organised.
- Ability to work alone as well as within a team.
- Available to work weekends.
- Possibility of accommodation within our staff house.
