Hotel Assistant Manager
We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager for our Boutique 72 rooms property in Central London. Looking for someone to join our team of professional and passionate people to ensure that exceptional experiences are delivered at all times.
You will be involved with all aspects of the management training and development of the Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and assist in routine maintenance.
Your main responsibilities will be to assist the Hotel Manager focusing on the day-to-day smooth running of these departments and ensuring our team meets and exceeds guest’s expectations.
Main Duties:
· Deputise in the absence of the Hotel Manager.
· Ensuring consistent high quality and standards of the operational departments and providing support as and when required.
· Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
· Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service and operational needs are met and compliant with budgeted manning levels.
· Maintaining on-going communication with employees to create awareness of business objectives and communicate expectations, recognizes performance.
- Deliver and maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
· Oversee and implement training and development plans for each department.
· Supports the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
· Ensure that company procedures in respect of team member disciplinary matters are adhered to and that no formal action is taken prior to notifying the Hotel Manager
· Comply with and oversee Hotel security, Fire regulations and all Health and Safety legislation.
Skills:
- Previous operational experience working in a F&B and Front Office senior role is essential, preferably within luxury hotel properties.
- Previous experience of Micros and Opera beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Can demonstrate attention to detail.
- Leadership and motivational skills.
- Resilience and drive to get things right first time.
Hours required:
Full time hours over 5 out of 7 days as required by the operation.
