We are currently seeking enthusiastic hospitality students looking for a 12 month internship in one of the following specialties:

From welcoming our guests at reception and overseeing their stay till departure to providing extra fluffy towels at turn-down, or creating a memorable meal in one of our 9 bars and restaurants, it’s the perfect training ground for a career in hospitality and any discipline or field that requires skills in prioritisation, communication and customer relations.

The minimum on target earning potential for this internship is £25,301 / annual salary - comprising your base salary plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

Fully immersed in operations from day one, you’ll be learning on the job, building your talents, and developing your skills and experience
Working in the department of your choice for a period of 12 months, you’ll complete a personalised learning and development journey bespoke to your role. This includes access to our internal training and development programmes.
Guided by a dedicated mentor who will support you throughout your 12 months, your personal development plan will be fully aligned to your needs and your ambitions
You’ll have the opportunity to experience 2 weeks as part a totally different department of your choice
Interact with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

You have a passion for hospitality and you’re studying towards a relevant qualification in the industry
Ambitious for your future, you’ll have the determination to succeed, and have a desire to take your first steps into a career in hospitality with a world-leading hospitality brand
Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

  • About gratuities & service charge:
Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
It is estimated that in 2023, our full-time employees can expect to receive around £3,000 in addition to their annual salary
