- From £21,189 per annum with performance-related pay progression and potential earnings up to £24,054 per annum (pro rata for part time)
- Enhanced rates for Sundays paid at time and one fifth per hour
- Paid mileage and travel time and for Bank Holidays
- Full time or flexible part time hours available from 7.5 hours - 37 hours per week, worked on an early, late shift rota including alternate weekends.
- Bank flexible casual hours available (paid at £13.41 per hour), evening and/or weekend working only is available on some contracts.

Suffolk County Council’s Home First provide short term reablement care and support to help people stay independent within their own home.
Home First are seeking self-motivated, caring, and passionate people who share the same care and dedication as we do to join our teams across the county as a Reablement Support Worker (RSW).
No experience is required as a Support Worker to be successful in this role, as you will receive a thorough induction, in-depth training and full support from your team to grow your skills and enhance your development.
You will also have the option to complete a fully funded level 2 Health and Social Care qualification to advance your career in Health and Social Care.
In this role you will:
- create and maintain positive relationships with customers and family carers
- promote health, wellbeing and independence to the customer
- develop the independence of customers through care plans / short term enablement plans
- provide general advice and guidance to customers to help them to make informed choices
- at times, assist customers with dignified and intimate personal care needs
- engage with customers, family carers and others to promote alternative ways to meet and maintain their long-term needs
- promote a range of services to help people live independently and safely at home
- monitor customers' progress against care plans and complete records for the ongoing review process.
