Director of Delivery & Innovation – delivering the next generation of automotive technologies
£120,000 - £140,000 + benefits
Hybrid working - regular presence required at company HQ in the West Midlands
Our client is playing a central role in transforming the UK Automotive industry’s push towards low or zero carbon products and solutions. With deep-sector expertise and leading-edge R&D capability, the organisation is driving innovation in the industry and accelerating the development of next generation technologies.
As part of their strategy to accelerate the transformation of the industry, they are seeking to recruit a Director of Delivery & Innovation who will play the lead role in facilitating the successful delivery of their portfolio of programmes.
Reporting directly to the CEO and operating as a key part of the Executive Committee, you will make a meaningful contribution towards developing and executing company strategy. You will also be responsible for managing an extensive network of industry stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of programmes.
You will either be a senior automotive professional or will be operating in an aligned profession that has similar mechanisms and structures (such as aerospace or marine).
You will have extensive experience of Programme Delivery at Director level or similar and will possess a comprehensive understanding of automotive supplier relationships and UK supply chain structures and mechanisms. Our ideal person will be able to evidence a demonstrable track record of product development or similar related programme delivery.
