We currently employ a team of 140+ employees, working from our London office or remotely, as well as a growing number of flexible remote workers in our interviewing services team.
We’re looking to recruit an experienced People Manager to join our team to provide maternity cover for 12 months, starting in early May, this is a part time role equivalent to 3 or 4 days, with flexibility on how this time is split.
About the role
We’re seeking an experienced People Manager to join our team for 12 months from May, to work with the business and oversee the delivery of projects, end to end employee lifecycle activities and help drive the business forward in our continued bid to be the best place to work.
This is an adaptable role in a people-first organisation. You’ll work across our teams with a variety of stakeholders advising and delivering on a number of ongoing projects and roll out the day to day delivery of our people strategy, supporting with; talent, employee engagement, employee relations and overseeing our office and facilities function.
Our people team consists of our People Advisor, Talent Acquisition Partner and People and Office Executive. You’ll lead and support this team in their roles, providing guidance and direction, as well as monitoring performance and workloads.
Our offices are in central London and we’re looking for somebody who can work under our hybrid model with a couple of days in the office each week (we’re also fine with individuals that would like to be in the office more regularly than that!).
Responsibilities
The overall objective of this role is to maintain and deliver our people strategy to increase engagement, enhance our Employer Brand, ensure we are an inclusive employer and be recognised as a best place to work.
As part of this you will:
- Support employee led committees to ensure engagement activities are consistent throughout the year.
- Be a key point of support and escalation for employee relations cases.
- Support our Talent Acquisition Partner with guidance on recruitment activity.
- Oversee our annual company-wide development process.
- Oversee the running of our annual engagement calendar and run regular engagement check ins providing reports to shareholders and feeding back to management where appropriate.
- Facilitate various employee feedback channels, including our quarterly survey, quarterly IFF Voice sessions and individual engagement check ins.
- Ensure we are delivering on our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda, including annual pay gap reporting.
- Ensure we are facilitating positive wellbeing at work in conjunction with the wellbeing committee.
- Oversee our People & Office Executive to ensure smooth running of the office and day to day activities.
About you
This role supports all of our teams so we’re looking for an adaptable and hands on person who is able to apply their skills in various ways. You must have extensive HR experience at management level and will have supported and guided senior teams in best practice. Employee relations experience is key to this role, and you must have up to date employment law and process knowledge.
Previous experience working with a flexible workforce is going to be of benefit for this position as we have a team of casual telephone interviewers that fluctuates in size over the year.
