Job description
CLASS 1 DRIVER
HGV C E / class 1 driver self tip work for a transport compnay based in Peterborough
Shifts:
Various starts available on AM or PM shifts
7 day a week operation - Ongoing or part time work available
ASAP start
Job role will include:
General Haulage
HGV C E trunking runs
10-11 hour shifts
Ensuring goods are safely secured
Completing LGV vehicle defect and maintaining logs
Completing delivery paperwork
Pay rates:
Mon to Fri days £17 ph PAYE / £19 ph LTD
Mon to Fri nights £18 ph PAYE / £20 ph LTD
Premiuim rates apply for weekends
The Candidate:
A valid full category Class 1/HGV C E licence
2 years experience preferred
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Work well with others as part of a team
Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
Must have a current LGV CE CPC and Digi card
No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences please)
