An exciting opportunity has arisen on Cherry Ward for highly motivated, confident and forward thinking individuals to work as a healthcare assistant. We have full time positions available with a mixture of long days and nights, Monday - Sunday on Cherry ward at University Hospital Lewisham.
The Healthcare Assistant works under the direction or supervision of qualified nurses to implement care planned by Registered Professionals. The Health Care Assistant
(HCA) is proactive in monitoring and anticipating patients’ needs within the boundaries of the Job Description

A local induction is carried out on your first day in the ward and you will be allocated a period of supernumerary status. As part of the Cherry ward team, you will be fully supported by the matron, ward manager, Practice Development nurse as well as a wonderful team.
