THE HOTEL
Best Western Plus Pinewood on Wilmslow is a 4-star Hotel located in the village of Handforth; just minutes from Manchester Airport.
A very busy venue with 89 bedrooms, meeting and event rooms, bar and restaurant; hosting a number of events to include conferences, weddings and celebrations.
Our hotel teams have an exciting and challenging task requiring business skills, operational experience and, above all, the ability to work together as a motivated team as we serve our guests and colleagues.
THE ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity for talented individuals to join our Food and Beverage Team as team members with both part time and full time vacancies being available, working throughout the department including Bar, Restaurant, Conference & Events and Room Service; across a variety of shifts to include breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will be part of a proactive department in achieving high standard of customer care and creating the ultimate customer experience working across all areas.
The ideal candidate for the role will:
· Provide efficient, prompt, trouble free, and courteous service to all of our guests and colleagues throughout all outlets.
· Accurately record, pre-check, and pick up all food and beverage orders across all outlets.
· Serves guests their food and beverage promptly and courteously
· Ensures the smooth running of their assigned work areas at all times
· Maintains a thorough working knowledge of food and beverage menus, to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
· Promotes additional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell, in a manner that is professional and courteous
· Makes clear orders to kitchen production, and bar regarding beverages; registers orders according to hotel procedures
· Works with the Food and Beverage Manager and F&B team to develop customer relationships creating loyalty and return guests.
· Put our guests at the forefront of everything that they do maximising customer satisfaction ensuring a professional and friendly service is provided at all times.

THE PERSON
The right person must have attention to detail and an eye for presentation. Be extremely reliable and have excellent time keeping as well as being prepared to work early starts. Transportation is not provided.
