Health Care Assistants Mental Health, Home Care | Day, Afternoon & Night Shifts Available

Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £16 - £30 per hour (24 hour sleep in shifts paid at £75)

Muve Homecare are actively recruiting trained health care assistants to support young adults and children with mental health Conditions.

Staff are required to support the service users with accessing the community, personal care, independence skills development, support to identify and attend social and leisure activities.

Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions is essential as well as leading healthcare assistants within their role.

About the role

We can offer short, medium, and long-term positions. Whether you want full-time work or some extra shifts, there is flexibility across various residential care homes to cater to your needs.

Part-time, full-time or ad-hoc shifts are available, with pay rates from £16 - £30, and higher rates for 24hr sleeper shifts.

We are looking for the following key experience:

Mental health with young adults or pediatric experience (PMVA or MAPA/CPI training)

Restraint training

Physical intervention

Positive behaviour support experience

Minimum Requirements for the Role

Drivers preferably, please note we require a minimum of 6 months' UK experience in the last two years working with clients with learning disabilities and/or autism for this role.
