Established in 2016 and building on more than 60 years of engineering excellence, 2Excel Engineering is a fast-growing Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Hampshire, delivering service-orientated narrow body Boeing and Airbus Maintenance to Operators and Owners, Leasing Companies and Governments.
We are now looking to recruit a Level 2 NDT Technician at 2EE to join us on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carry out on-wing aircraft and aircraft part inspections
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and functions correctly in accordance with the maintenance tasks required.
- Carry out daily checks within NDT department
- To write NDT instructions where necessary
- To undertake examination every five years to maintain NDT certification
- Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets, goals and find ways to continuously improve processes within the NDT department
- Know and understand risk assessments associated with task, including any Task Risk Assessment or COSHH Assessment referenced.
The following skills, experience and capabilities are required:
- Level 2 NDT Technician
- Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must be suitably qualified to PCN Aero or EN4179 as a level 2 NDT inspector in the following;
- Eddy Current Inspection
- Ultrasonic Inspection
- Penetrant Inspection
- Magnetic Particle Inspection
- Experience in Aviation on-wing inspections a must.
