Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.
The successful individual will join our Nursing Team as a Healthcare Assistant supporting our wider clinical team.
Their role will be varying including phlebotomy, performing ECG's, recording blood pressures and other observations and undertaking NHS Healthchecks.
In due course the role may develop to a wider skill set but at this stage we are looking for an individual who has at least current experience of phlebotomy and so this is an essential requirement of the role. Previous experience in a GP Surgery is a desirable competency.
Candidates, whilst working as part of the Practice team, will need to work alone with patients but comply with policies and protocols to ensure safe practise.
Good communication skills are essential, along with digital skills relevant to the role and illustrate empathy and support to patients presenting for care.
There is a full job description available for this role and further details are available by calling our Managing Partner at the Practice on 01508 494343.
Applications for the role are via letter of interest and a current and up to date CV to [email protected] (Managing Partner).
If you do not meet the essential requirement of having current phlebotomy skills, do not apply.
We look forward to talking to candidates who have a genuine interest of working with us at our Practice.
