Job description

We're looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant and/or Support Worker to support the needs of our community and our clients across a variety of settings. We're seeking a professional who enjoys working with people, is able to commit to regular hours, and have experience working in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, medication administration (Role Dependent) and more. This is a challenging job, but it allows you to work in a fast-paced environment where you are able to directly affect and improve the quality of people's lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Help individuals participate in daily activities in residential homes. their own homes or community settings.
  • Provide care to individuals who have vulnerabilities, mental health problems, physical disabilities, and/or substance use disorders.
  • Provide services in care homes, private homes, hospitals, and aged care facilities.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Communicate directly with medical staff about patients' conditions and concerns.

Required / Desirable:

  • Driving license and access to a car - Desirable
  • Right to Work in the UK - REQUIRED
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults - Desirable (Full training given to everyone)
  • Be able to commute to any location within 20 miles of your home - REQUIRED

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 8-48 per week

Salary: £10.50-£14.50 per hour
