Job Description
Do you have a knack for numbers and a passion for Power BI? Do you want to work in a finance team that uses data to drive business decisions and performance? If yes, then you might be the perfect fit for the Power BI Analyst role.
Our client who are leading Retailer based in London. They use Power BI and SQL to create, maintain, and share dashboards and reports that provide insights and metrics on key financial indicators, such as revenue, profit, cash flow, budget, forecast, etc. They also use mathematical and statistical methods to analyze data, identify trends, and generate recommendations.
As a Power BI Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Using Power BI and SQL to query, transform, and visualize data from various sources and systems
- Creating and updating dashboards and reports that meet the needs and expectations of internal and external stakeholders
- Applying mathematical and statistical methods to perform data analysis and validation
- Collaborating with other analysts and finance professionals to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Providing support and training to users on how to use Power BI and interpret the results
- Staying updated on the latest developments and best practices in Power BI and data analysis
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Power BI and SQL
- Experience in creating dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools
- Knowledge of mathematical and statistical methods and techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- A keen interest in finance and data science
