Job description

SALARY: £45,428 to £62,463
JOB LOCATION: Flexible - regular travel to More London Place
HOURS: 36 hours per week
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
We’re looking to appoint a Head of the Chief Executive Office to deliver a personalised, highly professional and confidential support to Clarion Group’s Chief Executive Office.
What you’ll do
This role is critical to the smooth running of the Group Executive Team function, so we’ll be looking to you to undertake a number of complex administrative duties for and on behalf of Clarion’s Chief Executive, many of which are highly confidential and sensitive in their nature.
You’ll be responsible for acknowledging any complaints or queries and will work closely with relevant operational teams to manage all complaints to completion and resolution, escalating to senior management in instances where the complaint is not resolved quickly or to a satisfactory level.
You’ll also prioritise and proactively resolve all issues and queries raised to the Chief Executive’s Office by local councillors and Members of Parliament, providing a professional dialogue and ensuring they receive a satisfactory, personal and attentive response, and are treated with respect at all times
We’ll look to you to prepare and coordinate reports, create and circulate high level meeting agendas, take accurate minutes and deliver tailored letters and emails, all of which must be of the very highest standard.
You’ll proactively manage the Chief Executive’s business diary, balancing their time spent attending key internal and external events with time spent dealing with strategic matters and with visiting teams across the Group.
Working unsupervised, you’ll be expected to take responsibility for arranging venues, equipment, catering, accommodation, and travel for a variety of internal and external conferences, meetings, seminars and exhibitions, as well as researching and gathering information to ensure the Chief Executive is well prepared for all such visits and speaking engagements.
On a day to day basis, acting as a first point of contact you’ll receive and respond a broad range of enquiries by telephone, email or mail or other means and receive visitors with excellent customer care skills.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills to be successful in the role of Head of Chief Executive Office, including an ability to write clear, accurate and concise reports, take comprehensive minutes and proof reading, with a high level of IT proficiency. We’re seeking someone with strong communication, stakeholder relationship and interpersonal skills.

Here at Clarion we’re dedicated to rewarding hard work and commitment and providing benefits that support you and your lifestyle.
As standard we offer;-
  • Competitive salaries that are benchmarked regularly against current market rates
  • Initial 25 Days annual leave (plus bank holiday), increasing to 30 days after 3 years’ service.
  • A flexible benefit scheme tailored to you, inclusive of healthcare options, dental insurance, restaurant card and cycle to work along with 1% of your salary to spend on whichever approved benefit you like!
