Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced IT manager who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience as a manager, and advanced industry knowledge. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
  • Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
  • Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
  • Creating user accounts and performing access control.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
  • Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
  • Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
  • Supervising and mentoring IT department employees, as well as providing IT support.
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
  • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
  • Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups

Required skills and qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in IT management
  • Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (ex: G-Suite, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, SharePoint administration), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, networks security and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with proximity card door systems
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Excellent working knowledge of VOIP phone systems
  • Experience with Website management
  • Computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
  • Professional certifications preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

  • Information Technology: 5 years (preferred)
