About the Role
We are looking for a self-motivated person can work in our Recycling, Refuse and Cleansing team. Good written, spoken communications and computer skills are essential. You will also need to be comfortable and confident with internal and external audiences.
Working in a small operational and administrative team, you will use your excellent administrative, customer service and IT skills to support the Council’s refuse and recycling service to residents, commercial customers and developers. The role will require that the individual can work independently and within a team. A hybrid working policy is in place.
Using your IT skills, you will work alongside the primary system administrator for the waste collection software (Bartec). You will also support IT specialists in the development of the system.
If you have an analytical mind, with an attention to detail, are enthusiastic and can hit the ground running, we’re keen to hear from you!
It would also be an advantage but not essential if you have had experience with a local authority and relevant experience in Waste Management
