POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Process Engineer is responsible for (but not limited to) managing machines, measuring equipment and developing/coordinating new processes. This position helps to improve the capabilities of the production machines and processes by using proper technical methods.
- Develop, coordinate and lead activities to improve automatic processes or find new ones including machine control
- Modify equipment or processes to maximize efficiency
- Develop new production/inspection processes
- Prepare layouts for new process and select appropriate machinery, tools and equipment
- Review and plan projects from concept review to installation and stabilization
- Develop tools to improve productivity
- Diagnose equipment breakdown and solve its problems
- Educate employees on proper ways to operate machinery
- Communicate with vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment and satisfy the needs of clients
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year(s) of relevant experience in the field of process engineering
- Excellent skill with CAD Software
- Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of systems, robotics, tools, equipment, relevant experience a plus
- Intermediate proficiency with computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ability to learn other software
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, customer-focused and enthusiastic about problem solving
- High sense of security and confidentiality
- Highly motivated self-starter and team orientation
- Comply with the highest standards of ethical conduct
