About the Role
As Head of Online Trading you will hold end to end accountability for the trading of the eCommerce channel for Matalan, including the strategic and operational agendas.
Responsible for the management of the on-line Revenue, NAM and KPI delivery, as well as day to day trading of the site to optimise customer engagement and drive sales. You will also own the short and long term strategic online growth plans, whilst being aligned to key stakeholders to deliver a seamless omni-channel customer offer.
You will design and deliver the future online trading landscape for the business with the inclusion of 3rd party Brands and stockless models (Dropship & Marketplace)
About You
- Significant experience in leading an Online Trading team
- Good grasp of analytical tools such as Google Analytics 360, Content Square, Business Intelligence
- Experience in growing a DTC
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw rapid actionable insights
- Excellent understanding of onsite daily trading tactics across the key trading zones
- Ability to balance strategic thinking alongside operational excellence
