Apple is seeking an expert International marketer to join our growing Apple TV+ marketing team. This role will lead global campaigns and assets for upcoming original series and films in 100+ countries as we focus on scaling, engaging and activating Apple TV+ worldwide. We are looking for someone that has proven experience in marketing high-profile international entertainment properties. The Lead will be a key cross-functional partner across our internal teams, domestically and internationally, with a focus on handling workflow and execution of global integrated marketing plans that drive buzz and viewership for Apple content around the world throughout its lifecycle. The marketer in this role is an effective communicator that is passionate about films and series, knowledgeable about the international television landscape, and has a collaborative mentality.
Key Qualifications
- Extensive functional leadership experience from a Media/ Entertainment consumer marketing role, with direct responsibility for launching original series or films, with international teams and markets
- Extensive knowledge and experience facilitating strategic and creatively led 360-campaigns, from show/film strategy to implementing the tactics (both paid and organic)
- Stellar executive written and verbal communication skills. Can present ideas simply across a range of partner perspectives —and with key partners (internally and externally, including filmmakers and EPs).
- Brings a strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving. Inventive self starter, willing to roll up sleeves
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management and multi-tasking skills with shown attention to detail
- Proven leader with established track record and career progression that can collaborate and partner cross-functionally in our highly matrix’d organization
- Curiosity for and knowledge of many cultures
- Proficiency in another language, a plus
Description
Contribute to the development of global show & film strategy and campaigns, ensuring international considerations are appropriately taken into account and provide regular updates to global teams. Prepare Apple TV+ marketing briefs for international teams and socialize campaign strategy and creative, working closely with teams globally to ensure adequate flow of information on content and campaigns. Support development of local marketing plans and initiatives, and more broadly support marketing efforts of global teams to promote Apple content. Assist in aligning all international marketing activities with content strategy and positioning. Partner with international and local teams to research, identify and complete marketing opportunities that effectively promote the titles in-market and ensure Apple Originals resonate with international audiences. Partner with Publicity, Events and other relevant cross-functional teams with local marketing teams to conceive and execute customized in-market activations. Through collaborative internal & external partner execution, bring multi-media content assets that extend the show across paid/organic initiatives (ensuring materials are aligned to show positioning and brand, and that creative is consistent across all international consumer touch points). Collect, analyze and share plans and performance data from local campaigns. Share standard methodologies across international teams, identify and present case studies. Monitor relevant activities in global content landscape. Develop and motivate team of mid-career marketers to do their best work.
