Our London- and Manchester-based support teams are the oil that keeps the iQ wheels turning, providing our brilliant site teams (circa 600 employees) with everything they need to deliver a fantastic student experience every day. The iQ Support functions cover everything from Real Estate and Legal to Marketing, People and Finance, but what we all have in common is our uncompromising commitment to doing the right thing, even when nobody's watching. IQ is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who will be responsible for supporting the delivery of revenue targets, through the creation and maintenance of web pages, SEO activity , web content and IA optimisation.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Create, update and maintain content on the website CMS, including pages, product cards, product lists and other content elements and modules, in line with CRO and SEO best practice, working closely with the Studio team and SEO agency, as required.
- Manage, prioritise and implement website service desk requests, ensuring content is accurate and updates are made within agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with iQ's website agency and internal teams to prioritise and progress bug fixes and development requirements.
- Support the delivery of opportunities to increase website conversions through improved content architecture, product visibility, user journey optimisation, and A/B testing.
- Proactively complete website audits and suggest/actions any web content optimisation opportunities, in close collaboration with the Studio team and Digital and Ecommerce Manager.
- Produce and analyse performance reports across all activity this role is responsible for, using appropriate tools. Provide insights and recommendations.
- Adhere to the team budget process e.g. ensure correct PO allocation and invoicing.
- Deliver all agreed activity within budget and record marketing spend as required in line with iQ's processes.
- Assist and support the annual budgeting process ensuring that costs demonstrate ROI and targets are met.
- Comply with iQ's data handling policies
Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a B2C environment.
- Working knowledge of website content management systems (experience with Drupal desirable, but not essential)
- Demonstrable understanding of SEO and CRO for an ecommerce website.
- Understanding of key performance metrics, and hands-on experience using digital analytics and testing tools e.g. Google Analytics 4, VWO.
- Experience in building, updating and maintaining web pages optimised for search engines and conversion, using tools to analyse online behaviour, and data to inform decisions.
- Understanding of the broader digital marketing mix.
- Natural ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of digital developments (such as Google SERP algorithm changes) and best practice.
