Job description
HR Assistant needed to assist in the day to day functioning of our HR department. Candidate must be highly proficient with all HR systems and able to support the department by researching and providing information on issues related to payroll, benefits and employee training. Candidate will also be responsible for assisting with new employee onboarding, as well as managing employee data and benefits information. Effective written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment process by performing general administrative work.
- Assist the recruitment team in finding and recruiting the most qualified candidates for open positions.
- Interact with job applicants by answering questions, scheduling interviews, redirecting applicants, and verifying employment and education.
- Support the hiring manager and other recruiting staff by verifying employment and education information, contacting references, and communicating interview results to applicants.
- Take care of new hire paperwork.
- Manage calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate travel arrangements.
- Communicate with recruiters regarding status of open positions.
- Manage employee orientation schedules.
