Head of HR Business Partnering and Operations
Location: Hybrid working Worthing 3 days a week in the office
Perm/FTC: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs
Salary: Circa £91k based on experience, £500 Car allowance, up to 20% bonus, PMI
An opportunity has arisen within Southern Water for a Head of HR Business Partnering and Operations who will sit on the HRSLT and lead a team of professional generalists delivering a broad range of HR operational services, advice and business partnering to the business.
As you can imagine, this role has a great deal of importance within the business leading on operational and OD effectiveness and strategic HR business partnering and will provide highly skilled input into a broad range of HR policy development and oversee complex ER cases including leading the HRSS team to provide first and second line support and advice to the business. Understanding the data systems process, this role will manage and support the Data and MI manager for the maintenance and development of Workday and other HR systems.

You will have gained extensive knowledge and experience over your career at a head of level and business partnering with eyes on organisational design and restructuring to ensure an optimum operating model that adheres to design principles which is tracked and aligned to finance and operational effectiveness.
You will have SME knowledge in UK employment law and best practice and experience working with Unions and managing relationships at that level as well as Experience with turnarounds and how to manage, deliver and embed change.
Over your career, you will have delivered transformation programmes set up HR teams and have the knowledge and expertise in complex restructuring, coordination of activity, driving consistency, articulating complex consultations on Ts & Cs, and managing Ts &Cs frameworks and implementation.
This is a highly skilled role that requires a passion for change, people, and fresh thinking as well as confidence in your work and the ability to speak with conviction at Exec level meetings.
