We are looking for a caring Health Care Support Worker to join our team of experienced nurses, support staff and other members of the multi-disciplinary team within the Community Hospital. The post is based in the GP Unit, caring for a variety of patients with wide ranging health care needs to include rehabilitation, step down from acute hospitals, long term conditions and palliative care.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to build effective working relationships within a busy environment and be committed to a high standard of patient centred safe and effective care.
The post is rotational day and night shifts within a roster pattern with the option of 12 hours shifts available. Part time job share would also be considered.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
