This role is responsible for leading our housekeeping team based at our offices, Oxygen House, Exeter.

We are not your typical office, and this is not a typical housekeeping role. We are in the business of creating exceptional experiences and inspirational spaces to ensure the best working environments for our teams.

The core hours for this role overseeing the team will be Monday – Friday from 1230 – 2100. There may be occasional weekend work.

Duties will include:

  • Being visible and the face of housekeeping services within the building.
  • Direct management / Supervision of the in-house cleaning team.
  • Ensure immaculate cleaning standards are presented throughout.
  • Reporting and acting on any issues that require attention.
  • Delivering a program of consistent improvement.
  • Ordering and Managing Cleaning equipment and stock.
  • Monitoring, operating site security systems, including opening or closing the building at end of the day.
  • Meeting health and safety standards throughout the building, including fire regulations.
  • Participating in emergency planning and training, to play an active part in any emergency procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and approach
  • Proven management/team leadership experience
  • PC literate, with PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; good judgement; can think outside of the norm
  • Self- motivated; able to work on own initiative
  • Team player; by working closely with colleagues you will be constantly striving to improve the environment within Oxygen House
  • An excellent communicator who is happy in dealing with senior management along with team members
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of people/customers at different levels; approachable individual with a professional manner
  • Practical in nature; able to get things done
  • Awareness of health & safety procedures
