The Artisan Baker is an award winning bakery based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. (Recently awarded the Times no.1 place to live in the UK!)
This opportunity as an Artisan Baker is to join a passionate, food loving team, whose number 1 aim is to provide delicious pastries, sourdoughs, speciality bread and other baked goods. The team currently consists of 7 bakers and the owner, Ori Hellerstein, plus our front-of-house team. You'll not only join a fun team but other benefits include free meals, snacks, coffee, socials and more!
The Role:
In this role you will take responsibility for
- 4 x 10 hour early shifts through the week, 3:00-13:00.
- producing artisan bread pastries and other baked goods, on a shift basis, for sale at our
coffee shops and market stall.
- ensuring stock is checked and reported on, orders are made.
- keeping a clean and tidy workspace and ensuring the kitchen is ready for the next bake.
You will report into the Head Baker.
This role is 40 hours a week, £11-£14 depend on experience.
You:
You will have previous artisan bakery experience, having worked with bread doughs and pastries throughout your career.
You will be a food lover, passionate and knowledgeable about food.
