- Own the listening approach and mechanisms used for all people at LBG, finding ways to continually augment and improve. Measure our progress on purpose, strategy and culture, deploying innovative techniques to identify potential areas for intervention.
- Craft valuable insights and recommendations which advise our People and Culture strategy and priorities, building more productivity, more love, more inclusion and more advocacy.
- Play a key role in working with leaders to enable key cultural shifts, providing insight, interventions and tools to build a transparent, collaborative, innovative and purposeful culture.
- Transform our approach to Performance Management and Recognition, embedding new processes across the group, working with our Reward and Colleague Experience teams.
- Use external research and networks to ensure our solutions are market leading and fit for the future, and use your experience to develop an ecosystem of connected solutions.
- Strategize, develop and drive transformative initiatives and champion the role of innovation by aligning overall business strategy with our people plan and innovation thinking.
- Using sound judgement and through effective working relationships, you’ll make decisions on where to focus our efforts and prioritise activities.
- Present new ideas and advise on yearly, medium and long term goals for the business, and report on and adapt interventions as required.
- Oversee and implement changes to approaches, methods, products and processes to enhance colleague experiences and support our cultural ambitions, with particular focus on changing system blockers.
- Work strategically with People Partnering Directors, Leaders, People Centres of Excellence and the wider Culture and Leadership team to develop tailored priorities by team, location and archetype which build a compelling EVP and a growth culture.
- Develop a systematic approach to culture transformation and identify critical systems to re-design and support owners to unblock through innovation and customer/colleague-back methodologies.
- Find and amplify examples of us on our best day, working closely with Group Corporate Affairs to tell stories which build belief that we are moving in the right direction.
- Represent the organisation externally in thought leadership contributions and at conferences.
- Transformation: Detail-driven, strategic, motivated and with a track record of delivering organisation-wide change and transformation in areas including Performance Management, Leadership, Innovation, Org Design.
- Innovation: experience of leading innovation practices and process, using methodologies line design thinking, to identify key problems to solve, develop interventions and implement solutions across complex organisations.
- Leadership: experience of leading multidisciplinary teams, including technologists, engineers, HR professionals and subject matter experts across financial services and retail sectors.
- Technology: understands relevant technology and has experience of leading technology teams and engineers to deliver change programmes across HR and people experience spaces.
- Action-oriented: Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Decision-making: Makes good and timely decisions that keep the organisation moving forward. Pushes for the use of sound logic and data when making organisation-wide decisions.
- Relationship-Management: Using a deep commercial understanding, emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills, you’ll develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of people, including the most senior leaders.

- Programme Delivery: Proven leadership of large programmes incorporating multiple projects which span the group and operate across matrix hierarchies.
- Communication & Story-Telling: Ability to present complex data and insight in an accessible manner to different audiences, conveying a clear understanding and considering unique needs of different audiences. You’ll create a culture of ongoing constructive dialogue and have a compelling impact on people at all levels, gaining widespread buy-in, mobilisation and commitment to the overall People and Places agenda.
