Cars2 is looking for an organized and driven individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team as a Group Vehicle Preparation Manager.
This role would ideally suit someone who has franchise aftersales experience and is capable of running a large team of service and parts staff.
This is role would look similar to a group aftersales Managers role and we would like them to have parts and service experience. The OTE would be around £75,000 per annum.
This Position would suit someone that is currently running one or more large aftersales operations and they are looking for a new opportunity starting a new arm to the group from a blank canvas.
Primarily you will be responsible in overseeing the preparation of used vehicle stock in adherence to company policy and in addition overseeing the arrival of our new vehicle stock.
Key responsibilities
· Take total control of vehicle preparation from stock arrival through a process of mechanical, cosmetic and valet processes.
· Minimise lead times of vehicles being prepared for sale.
· Timely upkeep of used vehicle preparation log.
· Ensure vehicles readiness for timely web photography.
· To take responsibility for delivery of the sales department’s requirements to ensure total customer satisfaction on the preparation of both new & used cars up to the point of delivery.
· Maintain an impeccable standard of vehicle display at all times.
- To provide support to the sales team with back up and support as and when required
- Ensure compliance to our quarterly used car standard audit.
- Accepting deliveries of vehicles and also collections
You will liaise with our Sales Manager, Used Car Controller and Sales Department to identify retail stock prior to arrival and organise the logistical movement of that stock. You will also need to coordinate with the service department along with external parties to ensure all stock cars are mechanically and cosmetically prepared in a timely manner once they arrive on site.
Essential Skills:
Great organisation skills are imperative for this role to ensure the smooth running of the process, as well as the confidence to drive it forward.
