Job Title: Studio Assistant
Job Description:
The Studio Assistant position entails various responsibilities, including:
Contract Management: Sending contracts for location shoots and ensuring the collection of necessary insurance certificates.
Dispatching: Handling site reps who oversee film and photo shoots. This may involve coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with property rules and regulations.
On-set Support: Occasionally, you may be required to be on set as a site rep, acting as the manager of the property and ensuring production crews adhere to guidelines and respect the location.
Scouting and Location Management: Assisting with scouting and location management gig work, which may involve conducting research and coordinating logistics for potential shoot locations.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and learn the ins and outs of the industry.
Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills for effective communication with clients, production crews, and property owners.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with property owners and production crews, while meeting their expectations.
- Negotiation and sales abilities, coupled with good business instincts.
- High stress tolerance to handle challenging situations that may arise.
- Prior experience in the film and photo industry is not required, as you will be working directly under the owner.
- Motivation to handle work that can quickly become complex, demonstrating the ability to adapt and thrive in challenging circumstances.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
