An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group IT Assistant based at Head Office in Fulham London, reporting to the Group IT Manager. This role is very hands’ on and it will require you to provide IT support to the Head Office in Fulham, London and the hotel of our 9 properties in Bristol, Cardiff, Norwich, Poole, Heathrow, Luton, Zurich and Bahamas.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- To ensure that, on a day-to-day basis, the System requirements of the hotels are met;
- To support Group IT Manager as and when required, to ensure the hotel is technologically advanced and efficient with all matters relating to hospitality IT and help manage project rollouts;
- To ensure that calls for support are logged and dealt with promptly and appropriately;
- To update and communicate with general managers on a regular basis with IT related issues
- To ensure all backups are completed successfully;
- Ensure smooth operation of the local area network at each location ensuring any disruption cause the minimum amount of disruption;
- Prioritizing and managing many open support cases at one time;
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications;
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications and project roll outs;
- Maintaining PCs, printers, telephones and credit card terminals, coordinating quarterly preventative maintenance;
- Providing support and training on Hotel PMS systems and subsystems, including procedural documentation;
- Setting up new users’ accounts, profiles, permissions and dealing with password issues;
- Working closely with users to improve efficiency in the use of Systems across group;
- Help to provide Out of Hours support when needed.
Job Requirements
- Customer-focused, helpful, proactive, an excellent team player who can work under pressure, is quick to learn and has great attention to detail;
- Previous IT experience as similar roles, ideally with hospitality experience;
- Good knowledge Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2019, TCP/IP network protocols and the ability to configure Windows 10 workstations and applications;
- Understanding of patching and cabling system, hardware diagnostics and resolution of PC and printer issues;
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required;
- Willing to travel to different hotel sites when required (including overnight stay when needed);
- Additional language skills in German will be an advantage.
