Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic reliable team player to join our very busy and successful clothing department as an Online Customer Sales Assistant. You must be committed to delivering the very highest levels of customer service and satisfaction, on the phone, in person, and via online communications.
We sell only the top brands in motorcycle clothing, leisurewear, safety equipment, boots and helmets from the leading brands in our fantastic stand-alone clothing department store which is the best in the area and also via our website. Our customers have come to expect nothing but the very best in terms of product quality and customer service.
Your Main Duties will include:
- Processing and dispatching online orders.
- Merchandising items online.
- Answering emails and messages in a timely manner.
- Looking after stock of both our Online and eBay store
Other Duties include:
- Assisting with the sale of market leading branded clothing products.
- Ensuring customers are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.
- Helping to maintain the merchandising of our clothing store to manufacturer standards.
- Ensuring the store is kept tidy and attending to customer requirements.
- Efficient answering of the telephone.
- Assisting elsewhere in the business when and where required.
The role is full time 5 days a week including Saturdays.
Previous experience in a similar role from within retail, online sales, motorcycle or automotive industries is preferred but not essential, however a desire and ability to learn is.
The successful candidate will be personable, presentable, polite, confident, organised and eager to get the job done to the best possible standard. You will also be an effective communicator and must have a passion for all things two wheels together with a willingness and ability to learn.
Desirable:
· Ecommerce experience, with proven skills in increasing performance
· Ecommerce/CMS platform experience, with ability to troubleshoot and problem solve if necessary.
· Strong usability knowledge of how customers interact with websites and how to optimise the user journey.
· Experience in retail, ideally in the motorcycle industry.
· SEO experience
· Numerate, strong presentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
· Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of programs e.g., Google Analytics.
· Strong organisational skills, an eye for detail and ability to juggle multiple projects.
· Enthusiasm, energy, determination and a passion for ecommerce and all things digital.
· Online Merchandising skills.
· Ability to understand commercial priorities and respond accordingly.
· Ability to work under pressure within deadlines.
· Highly organized multi-tasker who can juggle several priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £18,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
