Creative Artworker (Print/POS)
Salary is negotiable
Godstone, Surrey

My client, based in Surrey, are seeking an experienced creative artworker to join their busy studio team. As a business they produce anything from simple POS through to the full design and build of converted shipping containers. Within the role you’ll be involved with the design and creation of 2D graphics and decals used within their retail, food and beverage client base.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a market leading business; you’ll be based in their impressive 40,000sq ft state of the art production facility and play an integral part in the design of some truly stunning visual displays.

The Role

• Generation of 2D artwork for print, on-brand and ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Setting up artwork and ensuring correct fonts, colours and assets are used in line with client briefs
• Answering queries regarding the brand values/design direction to ensure the artwork is always true to client expectation.
• Checking all aspects of artwork pre-submission
• Communicating with the accounts & projects team ensuring punctual delivery and submission of the artwork according to agreed deadlines.

The Candidate

• Strong attention to detail - especially with spelling and grammar
• Motivated, enthusiastic & passionate about creative effective artwork
• Strong communication with peers, and account & project managers across the business
• Understanding of print ready/pre-press artwork set up
• Able to work under pressure at pace to tight deadlines
• Work across multiple brands and jobs
• Able to dissect and understand client feedback and make artwork amendments accordingly
• Previous experience in artwork for POS/Retail print (desirable)
• Self-motivated and able to manage individual workload
• Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop)
• Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office.

The salary for this role is based on experience and offers the chance for development and progression alongside a generous base salary, negotiable based on experience.
