Job description
Are you looking to gain additional skills in event management, organisation, customer service and art sales with Laura I. Art Gallery? We are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals wanting to gain work experience working at a prestigious art fair alongside our gallery.
What makes a great Laura I. Art Gallery Volunteer?
We’re looking for individuals who are:
•Passionate about the arts
•Hands-on and enthusiastic about helping across a range of tasks
•Happy to ‘muck-in’ where needed
•Friendly and approachable for advising visitors on what to see
•Interest in leading art tours of small groups (not essential)
•Basic awareness of current affairs of the art world
•Committed! You don’t need to be available for the entire project but be committed to the availability agreed.
Expenses: Daily travel expenses and lunch (to the value of £15 each) will be covered by Laura I. Art Gallery.
Prior to Fair: 1 - 3 days a week prior to the Fair between 1st of May and the 8th of May 2023.
