Driver - Kitting Media Operative - £13.75 per hour, average 40 hours per week includes 25% shift premium – weekly paid
Position Overview of Driver – Kitting Media Operative
Located within the Customer site in Derby, we are looking to recruit a Driver- Kitting Media Operative. working across three shifts, you will ensure the delivery, collection and maintenance of kitting media to and from the customers sites in line with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities of Driver – Kitting Media Operative
· Reporting to the Kitting Media Co Ordinator you will be responsible for loading the vehicles and making the deliveries/collections to and from our customer site as scheduled in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
· When deliveries/collections are not scheduled you will carry out maintenance work on the kitting media in support of the rest of the team
· Dealing with the customer face to face, on the phone, and by email to resolve any issues with the service.
· Ensure processes and procedures
· Take responsibility for general housekeeping within the customer location
Requirements of Driver - Kitting Media Operative
· Applicants must be aged 21 or over, preferably having held a full driving licence for a minimum of one year which allows the driving of 3.5T vehicles.
· Fork lift truck driver training will be provided if required.
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to develop and maintain excellent working relationship with key customer contacts
· Able to work on your own initiate
