Hi, we're Octopus MoneyCoach and we're on a mission to transform the financial wellbeing of the nation by giving everyone someone they can talk to about money.

The role
We're looking for a mid-weight graphic designer to be a creative force in our brand and marketing team.
Let's be honest: the world of money is utterly boring. And we want to change that. We believe design can be a powerful tool to inform, engage and inspire people to feel good about money and create the life they really want.
We're looking for an ambitious thinker and maker. You will thrive on an equal mix of creative thinking and creative execution, and be excited to work fluidly across many different types of design work.
Day-to-day, you will
- Act as a creative partner to our marketing leads and content creators, generating ideas for campaigns and projects
- Obsess over the details of how how our brand looks (and feels) at every touchpoint
- Create eye-catching social media campaigns and assets
- Design engaging landing pages for our website
- Create outstanding presentation templates our whole business can use
- Take our email designs to the next level
- Create stand-out materials for our events
- Bring our written content and research to life through beautifully designed reports and infographics
You will have
- Experience operating as a mid-level graphic designer (or 3+ years) in a consumer-oriented business (in-house or agency)
- Fluency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Slides (experience with animation tools is a bonus)
- Exceptional execution – with an eye for detail and a passion to constantly take the work to the next level
- Experience shaping, clarifying and challenging a creative brief
- Experience using design to tell better and clearer stories to an audience
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working across many projects at the same time
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude to drive projects forward
- Strong communication skills
In return for your contribution we offer a base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + benefits
Please note, as a regulated business we are required to run background checks for all employees which covers adverse financial and unspent convictions. These will only take place upon a successful job offer.

Flexible working
We currently operate a hybrid model which is a mix of office and remote. You'll have the option of working from home 2 days per week (Monday and Friday) with the remainder from our central London office in Holborn.
