Job title: Graphic Designer
Reports to: Senior Graphic Designer
Location: Home-based
Salary: Up to £24,000 dependent on experience
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your design skills to make a difference.
Working closely with our Senior Graphic Designer and wider Marketing Team, you will work across all aspects of design, digital, print and socials.
You will work as part of the Marketing Team to develop creative ideas and concepts to support our marketing and communications activity, as well as support design work for other areas of the business.
You will play a key role in developing a variety of products and marketing materials including adverts, brochures, leaflets and social media visuals.
We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic about design and marketing, and works well with others.
The team works across a range of projects to support internal communications, occupancy and recruitment, which means the role, will be varied and you’ll have the opportunity to work with different teams and expand your experience.

About you
- Whilst a design qualification or Bachelor’s degree is desirable, you do not need one to apply for this role. If you match our values, can demonstrate great design through your portfolio and meet the required skills, we would love to hear from you!
- We are also interested in hearing from Designers who have completed a college course or apprenticeship.
- For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
- a portfolio of ideas that demonstrates a strong creative understanding and skills in layout and typography
- good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload, maintain schedules and meet deadlines
- knowledge of design for social media platforms
- knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop), Microsoft Office and Canva
- the ability to create on brand designs based on existing styles and guidelines
- good verbal and written skills
- self-motivation and is eager to learn and develop creative skills
- the ability to take feedback and act upon it
- great attention to detail.
You’ll mainly work from home, so self-motivation is key. However, the Marketing Team are regularly out and about visiting our care homes, something which we encourage in the role. You must have the ability to travel to our head office in Rotherham and care homes across England when required (mileage is reimbursed).
