Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR support to the ISC workforce(hourly and salaried) in Cheadle plant
- Full HR operational remit: employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits, communication, training and development.
- Support key business transformation initiatives, driving continuous improvement around organisational design, culture change and employee engagement.
- Coach and guide line managers around employee relations issues including disciplinaries, absence management and grievances.
- Develop, enhance and implement HR operational procedures and processes for UK
- Drive resourcing activity to respond to changes in demographics and business growth. Also support the implementation of cost efficiency initiatives and restructuring as required.
- Develop training and development plans including succession planning activities.
- Deliver training and workshops to line managers on people processes and manager self service topics.
- Build relationships and leverage HR support with the centre of excellences; Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, Talent Management and Learning, HR Services University Relations etc.
- Support and lead the local CSR activities as part of the Wecare4 network
- Support organizational development and change initiatives within the Garrett excellence model and document process standardization.
- Any other duties not listed as required by the business.
Experience/Education Required
- Graduate or equivalent, HR qualification preferred
- Min of 5 years of HR generalist experience
- UK Employee / Labour Relations experience
- Experience of driving continuous improvement activity
- Fluent English
- Excellent PC skills
