Graphic Design Lead

Working at our Folkestone HQ, you will lead an in-house creative team to respond to creative design needs generated by the wider business. Driven and innovative, you and your team will be responsible for upholding and developing the Bigjigs® brands through packaging solutions, online and offline marketing, exhibitions stand design and photography.
What you’ll be doing:
- To oversee the branding of the company and ensuring all output meets the brand guidelines
- Lead your team by directing, planning and scheduling briefs for creative team members with all aspects of design for print, packaging and marketing.
- Plan, direct and oversee all packaging requirements
- Oversee the production of Bigjigs Toys catalogue, exhibition graphics and photography
- Proof checking and liaising with printing factories to ensure excellent quality.
- Create a schedule for projects with the Directors and ensure the team meets delivery, highlighting any issues that may arise and find solutions
- Oversee creation of branded content for Amazon
- Conduct bi-weekly one to ones for all team members
- Manage and motivate your team, helping them to progress their skills
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Degree or similar qualification in Graphics
- Excellent understanding of Adobe Illustrator and use of full Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop etc.)
- 5 + years in a design and marketing position with line management experience
- Knowledge of preparing artwork for print and online use and print production/proof checking
- Experience liaising with factories in the Far East

Hours: 8.00-16:30 Monday to Friday.

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
