The key role of the Social Media Executive is to raise brand awareness, maximise organic growth and liaise with specialists regarding social media content.
– Key point of contact for PR and social media agencies
- Oversee all company social media accounts ensuring regular posts are planned and scheduled, with an understanding of reactive, on-trend posting
– Work with social media agency and Group Senior Digital & Communications Manager to develop and implement best practice social media posts, using platform-specific knowledge to manage output, administer accounts research, and analyse social media trends, audiences, and topics
– Alongside other departments, develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or brand messages
– Develop reports on competitor activity, and contribute to KPI reports
– Play a key role in executing brand message
– Independently run a LinkedIn profile
– Use tools to manage all platforms and have a strong understanding of analytics
– Support the PR team, by requesting customer testimonies, case studies, contact details, and other necessary content required for campaigns
- Understand fundamental marketing principles and terminology such as Funnel, audience segmentation, and CTA’s or demonstrate a willingness to learn through continuous development
– Ability to create daily posts
– Experience using social media tools and social media accounts
– Ability to learn new skills quickly and develop knowledge
– Willing to collaborate and input on team meetings and presentations when necessary
