We have an exciting opportunity available here at Barking and Dagenham College for Graphic Design and Digital Content Officer.
The Graphic Design and Digital Content Officer will take a lead role in designing and developing graphic design projects and digital content including posters, flyers, booklets, course guides, digital banners and social media. They will be the college’s brand champion and gatekeeper, ensuring that all collateral produced complies with the brand guidelines. They will also oversee the production of video and photographic content through line management of the Digital Content Assistant.
Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager, this role will produce coherent and consistent campaign visuals across traditional and digital channels for brand campaigns and recruitment events. Campaigns will need to maximise learner recruitment and business engagement in line with the College’s marketing and recruitment strategy. Working with stakeholders from across the organisation, the role will be responsible for understanding the objectives of a project and delivering creative solutions that adhere to the organisation’s brand guidelines. The post-holder will need advanced knowledge of Adobe software and a determination to achieve and succeed.
It is essential that you have relevant Level 3 qualification in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience, as well as Maths & English GCSE’s at Level 3 or above, or equivalent.
You should also have excellent IT skills in MS Office or equivalent and Advanced knowledge of Adobe software- Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. It would be advantageous to have Adobe Software or Marketing qualifications from CIM, or equivalent.
Being able to deal with clients or colleagues at all levels of an organisation and providing creative solutions to meet their brief or business needs is essential to this role.
