Supply Chain Outbound Assistant

Purpose:
To develop and drive an Outbound Supply strategy that delivers great availability to stores, meeting customer and market requirements whilst delivering maximum profit and saving cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly allocation and replenishment in line with business priorities and customer demand.
- End to end accountability of your own departments.
- Work closely with Inbound Supply to ensure customer demand is met.
- Laser focus on retail availability and demand forecast planning to ensure key business priorities and key event targets are met.
- Stock Maintenance of old/markdown/end of life product.
- Awareness of business and team strategy and how you can play a part within it.
- Being proactive and supportive with store feedback, ensuring requirements are met.
- Engage with Merchandising and store visualisation teams to ensure consistent priorities are agreed.
- Maximise full price sales potential to minimise markdown risk.
- Support P&L by saving cost through continued focus and action.
- Communicate cross functionally to ensure consistent delivery.
- Being aware of ALS capacity challenges and how you can support.
- Demand and Forecast planning - ensuring accurate forecasting in line with business priorities and key events.
- Consistent review of supply chain and instock targets to ensure metrics are being met.
- Accountable for launch availability throughout the year as well as delivering on key promotional events at certain points of the year.
- Support supply coordinator with data analysis and strategic initiatives to get ahead of the curve.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and administration skills, with a 'can do' approach.
- Passion for numbers, interpreting data and the ability to translate this into forward creative planning.
- Demonstrates a desire to develop their supply chain skills and gain an understanding of the wider distribution network.
- Intermediate Excel Knowledge, as well as experiencing using it, with the ability to analyse and interpret data and reports.
- Inquisitive mind-set and driven by continuous improvement .
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, quickly & effectively to agreed deadlines, both independently and as part of a team .
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build networks effectively.
