HR Training Apprentice- London Office
We're seeking a HR Apprentice to join our busy and established team in our London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright and driven individual to carve a career in HR, within a professional services environment.
Our HR team are an integral part of recruiting, retaining, and rewarding our employees, throughout their career journey. You will work closely with the HR Administrators, HR Advisors, and the HR Managers to provide an outstanding service to our internal client group.

What will I do?
You will be working as a part of a large and experienced team, so lots of opportunity to learn, expand your knowledge and work on new and exciting things!
Responsibilities:
HR Training Administrator:
- Review processes and make recommendations to HR team to streamline working practices.
- Check HR invoices prior to HR Manager/HR Partner approval and liaise with suppliers on queries
- Provide typing and administrative support to the Training Manager in relation to course preparation
- Ensure course dates are in Training teams diary
- Provide assistance to other course presenters in relation to production of course materials, notes, handouts, if required
- Ensure course presenters are booked and dates are in diaries
- Chase presenters for course materials well in advance of courses
- Ensure distribution of course materials in advance of courses, where required
- Ensure all course materials, equipment are at the relevant course location
- Maintain course registers. Notify venue, presenter, attendees of cancellation, amend dates on MHA Hub.
- Book training venues annually ensuring venues rates are competitive, within budget and meet our requirements
- Book external courses and liaise with external course providers as required
- Process all related invoices and track expenditure
- Arrange for course evaluation forms to be sent to delegates via MHA Hub
- Maintain course progress sheet
- Liaise with MHA firms re internal training and with Central to arrange invoicing for MHA delegate attendance
- Maintain and respond to any emails – queries or issues sent to the training inbox or forward to the relevant people to respond.
- MHA Hub queries, general training queries, course assignments questions, live courses, session changes
- Any ad hoc duties associated with the role
Skills and Experience
- An interest in Training and an enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- The ability to handle a heavy workload with minimal supervision.
- Carrying out tasks with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to intermediate level, to produce letters, spreadsheets, and organisation charts.
- Proficient in the use of Outlook for diary management, emails and arranging meetings.
- Proficient in the use of Teams for collaborative working
- Experience in using databases is desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills – polite and helpful at all times.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
- The ability to communicate with all levels of staff in a professional yet friendly manner.
- Willingness to ‘muck in’, assist as necessary and carry out routine tasks when required.
- Willingness to work extra hours as necessary during busy periods.
